Tiongui: teaching materials and commune maps handed to schools

GAMS-MALI joined an initiative of the collective of teachers from Tiongui and handed over 17 giant maps and 2 framed maps of the commune.

On 20 September 2025, GAMS-MALI joined an initiative of the collective of teachers from the rural commune of Tiongui, which handed school supplies to the commune’s schools and best pupils. GAMS-MALI contributed to the purchase and handover of teaching materials.

Maps of the commune

GAMS-MALI also handed over seventeen giant-format maps and two personalised framed maps of the commune of Tiongui:

  • one giant map and one framed map for the sub-prefect;
  • one giant map and one framed map for the mayor;
  • fifteen giant maps for the commune’s schools: thirteen primary and two lower-secondary.
