During its presentation visits to the communes, GAMS-MALI gave the mayors large-format administrative maps of their commune free of charge.
The operation covered the following local authorities: Faragouaran, Faradiélé, Bougouni, Danou, Kouroulamini, Wassoulou-Balé and Bolo-Fouta.
Why this action
An administrative map gives elected officials, decentralised services and residents a shared view of the commune’s territory: boundaries, villages, roads. It serves as a basis for discussion on local planning. According to the 2025 annual technical report, this activity helped improve GAMS-MALI’s institutional visibility and support local governance dynamics.
