GAMS-MALI supported the women of the Benkadi cooperative in Zambougou in carrying out a participatory diagnosis of the constraints holding back their market-gardening activities. The diagnosis is meant to lead to a response plan that can be used as an advocacy tool with technical and financial partners.
Constraints identified
- the lack of a secure fence around the market-gardening plot;
- insufficient land, at under one hectare, given the number of women farmers, estimated at 140.
